My name is John and I tutor Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Pre-Calculus, Differential Equations, Statistics, Trigonometry, College Algebra, Industrial Engineering, Business Statistics, and SAT Prep. I have years of experience tutoring Engineering and Calculus at both the high school and college level. I strive to help my students overcome any obstacles that might be hindering their advancement in mathematics. It is my goal to help students master the subject and increase their confidence level so that their mathematics abilities grow. I hope we can have fun as we work and learn together. I am an Industrial Engineer (I attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst) and I minored in Mathematics, so I am confident in my mathematics tutoring abilities. I currently tutor students who are attending the University of Massachusetts and in the past, I was an intern for Surgistar, (a surgical instruments manufacturing company). I have also patented a superior bike seat that is adjustable and addresses the discomforts that bicyclists experience while riding. I am in the process of licensing this invention to manufacturers and starting up my own business. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, dancing, and cycling. I tend to enjoy the little things, such as reading and watching movies.
