ExperienceI tutored biology and chemistry students throughout high school, college, and graduate school. I've overcome many educational obstacles thanks to great teachers and tutors, and I love to help somebody get to that place in their learning experience.
My tutoring sessions aim to build problem-solving skills while simultaneously addressing issues in content comprehension. These skills help students to apply familiar concepts in unfamiliar contexts, as is often necessary on upper-level science coursework and exams. My ultimate goal is to teach students how to teach themselves.
I spent a year doing medical genetics research at Tulane University School of Medicine after I graduated with my Master's degree. After that, I transitioned to working in the business side of healthcare for a year.

Excellent genetics tutor who went above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Broke down complicated concepts into a way that was easy to understand. Would not hesitate to use him again.
Kyle is absolutely wonderful! After having a C- midterm grade in biochemistry, he played a huge role is getting my final grade to an A-. He's extremely helpful with explaining the dense material and making biochemistry seem less daunting. He's completely committed to making the biochemistry experience a good one as long as you're willing to put in the work. Highly recommend!
Kyle is the absolute best! After doing very poorly on my first Basic Medical Biochemistry exam I reached out to him and we started meeting right away. He explains everything so clearly and will make extra handouts on things that you have a really hard time with. It's so obvious that he genuinely cares about your success! We met twice a week for about three weeks and he helped me improve my score by 31%. I couldn't have done it without him and I absolutely recommend him to anyone who is struggling or just needs someone to walk you through your lectures!!!
He is super helpful in gen chem and bio! Knows the material well and knows how to teach it as well.
