I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2014 with a degree in Anthropology and a focus in Natural Science. I loved studying anthropology and science together because they afforded me the opportunity to learn about and see the world in different in multiple viewpoints, and allowed me to dive into my passion for both hard and soft science. I am currently enrolled at the Tulane University School of Medicine.
Experience
Besides working in Global International Health for nearly two years, I have been a student my entire life, and truly appreciate when I find a teacher that inspires me. My first experience with a truly impassioned teacher was in my 10th grade Honors Biology Course. I suddenly found myself explaining the concepts I had learned to my peers who were having difficulties, my family, and my friends. I realized then that I wanted to start tutoring, and have not stopped since. I have tutored students in Math, English, Biology, Chemistry and Spanish at all levels - from elementary to college and graduate level. I hope to provide not only a guiding hand in learning new concepts, but also become a teacher for my students that will help them develop into passionate life-long learners.
