EducationEnglish and Philosophy double majors at Villanova University, Magna Cum Laude; J.D. at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law
ExperienceI was selected and trained to tutor writing throughout college at the Villanova University Writing Center. I have experience tutoring writing in a variety of academic disciplines. I graduated with high honors from Villanova University and was inducted in multiple honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa, the English Honor Society and Phi Sigma Tau (Philosophy Honor Society). I was also active in the university honors program, serving as an academic peer support counselor. I recently graduated from Loyola Law with honors. While in law school I served as the Student Bar Association's academics liaison and social chair. I have excellent analytical reasoning skills. I am also strong in the areas of research, writing and organization.
HobbiesI am currently awaiting bar exam results before beginning full time employment as an attorney. I am a huge fan of the New Orleans local music scene. I am an avid traveler and have spent a good amount of time abroad, having lived in Prague, Vienna and several cities in Germany. Most recently, I returned from a three week sailing trip in the British Virgin Islands. Originally, I moved to New Orleans after college as part of a volunteer program (Jesuit Volunteer Corps) where I worked for a year as a full-time volunteer at a homeless shelter in the city. In my free time I am active distance runner, having run cross-country throughout high school and college.
