Education

Doctor of Medicine/Master of Business Administration Candidate, Tulane University School of Medicine Master of Science, Human Genetics, Tulane University School of Medicine, May 2013 Bachelor of Arts, Biology, The University of Texas at Austin, August 2012

Experience

I tutored biology and chemistry students throughout high school, college, and graduate school. I've overcome many educational obstacles thanks to great teachers and tutors, and I love to help somebody get to that place in their learning experience. My tutoring sessions aim to build problem-solving skills while simultaneously addressing issues in content comprehension. These skills help students to apply familiar concepts in unfamiliar contexts, as is often necessary on upper-level science coursework and exams. My ultimate goal is to teach students how to teach themselves. I spent a year doing medical genetics research at Tulane University School of Medicine after I graduated with my Master's degree. After that, I transitioned to working in the business side of healthcare for a year. Please inquire for a copy of my curriculum vitae or references.
